Junrey Balawing from Zamboanga del Norte Philippines was verified by Guinness World Records on June 12, 2011 as the Shortest Man in the World. Junrey measured 23.59 in (59.93 cm).
Craig Glenday of Guinness World Records visited Junrey with the official to recognize Junrey as the Shortest Man in the World on his 18th birthday.
