Pacquiao Wins 2011 ESPY Awards - Fighter of the Year. This is the second time that pound-for-pound boxing champion Manny Pacquiao has won ESPY's Fighter of the Year. The Pambansang Kamao bested fellow nominees Bernard Hopkins, middleweight king Sergio Martinez, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, and UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre in the Best Fighter category. The ESPY (Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly) Award is presented by the American cable television network ESPN to recognize individual and team athletic achievement and other sports-related performance.
